Poison Dart Frog

The animal I am writing about is the poison dart frog. It lives in the rainforest environment. Recently, there has been an environmental shift such as deforestation. Right now this animal survives by using traits like eating bugs, camouflage and berries. These traits help the animal survive. In the future, the animal may need to develop new survival traits such as a change in their diet or eat different food in order to survive in the changing environment. The biological response to this environmental change may include new food which helps the animal be alive; this response increases the animal's chance of survival.
