The Pink River Dolphin, or Inia geoffrensis home is the amazon rainforest. But not for long, with climate change, deforestation, and fires, it will change into a dry savanna. With this change the Pink River Dolphin will have to change, starting with habitat. It will have to live near water sources like Sasakwa Dam, where it can hunt in the daytime and hide in the water at night. They will also need new adaptations, for example changing from an all aquatic animal, to an amphibian, they will do this by their tail transforming into feet. They will not only have to change their habitat but also their food sources. These animals will go from an all fish diet to a mix of water animals and on land animals. The Pink River Dolphin after many changes will adapt and turn into a Pink Savanna Two Footer, or the Inia rayée pieds.
