The Green Anaconda is an apex predator that lives in most of South America. They live in tropical rainforests, and prefer shallow slow moving waters to stay in, because the water supports their weight, and like streams and flooded grasslands. Green anacondas are carnivorous, and their prey ranges in size from birds and fish to large animals like deer and capybaras, and are constrictors.
The Yellow Anaconda (Eunectes flavus) will live in the savannas of South America, because climate change will turn their natural habitat into a savanna, and will find food by slowly stalking their prey until the prey lets their guard down; hunting during the night. They will have more babies in their litter, because the mortality rate of the babies will increase as the harsher temperatures ensue. They will go into a period of dormancy by burying themselves in mud in the summer to escape the heat.
