The main adaptations that I have added are larger eyes (1.), a longer beak (2.), a significantly larger brain (3.), a wider wingspan (4.), and a countershading coloration (5.). These adaptations aim to thrive in a more sparse jungle environment that demands longer flights and greater adaptability. Sunda crows are already very adaptable animals but a significantly larger brain for increased tool use and social interaction will allow them to work together and thrive in a way similar to early humans. An even longer beak that’s slightly wider will allow them to access a greater variety of food sources. The countershading supports longer flight at all altitudes by camouflaging them from animals above and below them similar to penguins. Finally, larger wings allow these body modifications to benefit them while maintaining and improving upon their flight capabilities.
