Spider Monkey

There are only 7 spider monkeys in the world. All 7 species of spider monkey are threatened with extinction. Two spider monkeys are Critically Endangered. They eat flowers, seeds and leaves. Spider monkeys live in communities of 20-40 members called troops. These diurnals are active during the day. The animal I am writing about is the spider monkey. It lives in the amazon rainforest habitat. Lately, the environment has changed because of climate change. In the future, the animal might not be here.
