Sumatran Striped Rabbit

My animal is originally called the Sumatran striped rabbit. It changes to a Striped day hopper when its environment changes to a shrubland, for it starts hunting for berries during the day which it currently hunts at night. Currently, it burrows in other animal burrows during the day. In the future, the rabbit has its own burrow and stays near it during the day when it hunts. Hunting during the night is now too cold for the rabbit, and it won't be able to see as well if a predator is coming. The habitat changes from dense montane forests to shrublands with many shrubs and not much tree canopy and lower rainfall. The future environment is an environment between deserts and forests. The rabbit is currently living in a forest. Its current diet is stalks and leaves of understory plants. In the future it will eat all kinds of berries.
