Ant eaters adaptations

I researched Ant eaters and how they need to adapt to thrive. I learned that ant eaters are slow and have small claws, I also learned that they need sharper teeth and thicker fur. The reason for these is because of many reasons. Firstly ant eaters need to become faster because the main cause of death is from humans by getting ran over, etc. They need thicker fur because they die from fires so this fur will allow them to become fire resistant. If they get bigger claws they can climb trees to escape predators and natural disasters. Ant eaters in fact have no teeth so it would be a good addition in case they cant access ants. -Thank you.
