Brown Throated 3 Toed Sloth

My animal is the Brown-Throated Three-Toed Sloth that lives in the rainforest. When its habitat changed into a savanna, it adapted to the Silver-Haired Knuckle-Toed Sloth. The Brown-Throated Three-Toed Sloth lives in Central and South America, and spends most of its time in tree canopies. It's known for being very slow, and hanging upside down on branches. Their fur color is made up of different shades of brown with some green algae on it to help them blend in with their surroundings. When their environment changed to a savanna, their fur color adapted to silver, yellow, and gray. In the rainforest, they ate leaves and fruits which are low in calories causing them to be slower. In the savanna, they are going to have to eat small reptiles and insects, and they are going to be more vulnerable to predators because they aren’t in the trees, but on the ground.
