My animal is the Macaw. Macaws are king-sized members of the parrot family and have typical parrot feature. Macaws look like parrots but some are light blue and dark blue. Macaws are adapted for flying though the trees in the forest, with a streamlined body and tail shape wings that don’t flap deeply. Macaws eat a variety of ripe and unripe fruit, nuts and seeds, flowers, leaves, and stems of plants, and sources of protein like insects and snails. Most Macaws nest in holes of trees or in earthen banks and cliff sides. Macaws are intelligent and curious birds that like to explore and keep busy. Their large, strong, curved beaks are adapted for crushing nuts and seeds. In the future I think that Macaws are going to look bigger because they are going to grow. They have to eat more food because the weather is getting warmer.
