What has spots, likes to hide, and can run very fast? A CHEETAH! I think Cheetah habitats may get colder. So, Cheetahs have to adapt to keep living there. They may get white fur, instead, kind of like a Snow Leopard's. They may get better padding on their paws so they don’t sink in the ice or snow. They may get better hearing, too, so they can find their prey. An animal in the snow could easily escape. But with padding, it can make their prey think it’s not there. Then the Cheetah could pounce on its prey, and it would be too late for the animal to escape. Its diet would also change. Cheetahs may start eating Snow Hares, Arctic Foxes, and maybe even Snowy Owls. They might live in dens, too. The cold may also affect the way Cheetahs communicate with one another. Cheetahs could adapt this way!
