PRESENT BY:ISAAC Toucans are important to rainforest health. Toucans are also known to reach deep into tree cavities to grab eggs from other birds. They are as well relatives of the kind of annoying woodpecker. Toucans spend their lives high in the rainforest canopy seldom making trips to the rainforest floor and nest in hallowed out tree cavities. Toucans often nest in groups or colonies. Toucans eat berries, small snakes, and any tropical fruits, their predators are Boa constrictors, and some other snakes. A toucan is about 24 inches.
