In my picture, I drew a future version of a poison dart frog that has adapted to survive climate change. The frog has thicker, moisture retaining skin to help prevent dehydration as temperatures rise and rainfall decreases. It should be dark green so it has better camouflage and can blend into leaves and trees instead of standing out with bright warning colors. I also gave it longer, stronger hind legs so it can jump farther and escape predators more easily. Its sticky grip pads are larger so it can climb higher into cooler trees. I showed it burrowing under damp soil to stay cool during extreme heat. I also listed behavioral adaptations like being active at dawn and dusk, eating more types of insects, and moving to higher elevations. All of these adaptations help the frog survive, find food, avoid predators, and adjust to its changing rainforest habitat.
