Glass frogs are extraordinary creatures found in the Amazon Rainforest in South America. They are a vertebrate animal also found in the red eye tree frog family/ the tree frog family. They eat moths, ants, spiders, and flies. Glass frogs spend their time on smooth leaves that are over-hanging over water streams of bushes in humid temps. They live in Central and South America, ranging from Southern Mexico, and Argentina. The glass frog is a carnivorous animal. They only eat insects and literally are transparent. They came to where they live today by ancient events.Meaning they were transported to the amazon by humans or by genetic, scientific processes. The animals that prey over glass frogs are snakes, birds, spiders, and small mammals. The glass frog is on the bottom of that food chain. They can be found around Central and South America, Costa Rica.1
