Giraffes are very unique and have different ways to adapt and thrive in their lives. Giraffes have adapted to their environment very easily. Giraffes mostly eat leaves, tree bark, and fruit from trees because it is very easy for them to reach. Giraffes necks help them reach for food and look out for predators to keep them safe. Their purple tongues help them grip and the purple part actually protects them from getting sunburned from all the melanin. The giraffe's environment is the Savanna and the climate is usually higher than 60 degrees. If the giraffe's habitat had an environmental change, some things would be hard for them to adapt to. For example, less trees equals the giraffes not getting enough food to eat. Less trees could make giraffes extinct. To conclude, these pieces of information reveal how giraffes adapted to their environment and how environment change can ruin it.
