The Blue Spix Macaw is a parrot originating from Brazil. The bird has been constantly endangered due to deforestation. This species of parrots are very rare, being an additional reason to why they are near extinction. Countless reports of hunting and the trapping of these birds are one of the main reasons of what led to the Blue Spix Macaw's extinction.
